Catering for Product Presentations and Customer Training Sessions

The Vaillant Roadshow focused on new heating systems, professional exchanges, and training sessions for invited customers. The catering was designed to fit seamlessly into the daily schedule without interrupting the presentations or training sessions.

Our food truck was positioned right at the event venue for this purpose. This allowed participants to pick up their freshly prepared burgers right next to the training and presentation areas. The kitchen and serving area were housed in a single mobile unit, which made it possible to provide catering at the various locations with a consistent, recognizable setup.

More than 30 events with varying numbers of guests

In 2023, the roadshow visited more than 30 locations in Germany. The number of guests at each event ranged from about 50 to 200 people. These variations had to be taken into account in inventory planning, preparation, and distribution.

A smaller training session requires a different format than a roadshow stop with 200 guests. The menu selection, preparation, and staffing were therefore adjusted to the respective number of participants and the allotted time frame. At the same time, the catering at each location was expected to offer the same quality and a reliable service process.

Fresh burgers straight from the food truck

At the Vaillant Roadshow, we served freshly made burgers. The food was prepared right in the food truck and served to the guests. The open-kitchen setup allowed for personal interaction between our team and the attendees and made the food preparation a visible part of the event.

The project photos show both our chefs at work in the truck and the food being served to guests. In addition, the Vaillant branding was prominently integrated into the setup. As a result, the food truck blended seamlessly into the roadshow presentation without overshadowing the professional nature of the customer training sessions.

What Matters Most for a Nationwide Roadshow in Germany

Catering for more than 30 events requires repeatable processes while also allowing for sufficient flexibility for each individual location. Before each stop on the tour, the local conditions and timing must be known.

The most important planning considerations include:

  • Venue, Access, and Suitable Parking Area
  • Start Date and Duration of the Planned Issue
  • Expected number of participants per session
  • Food Choices and Diets
  • Power Supply and Other Technical Requirements
  • Travel, Setup, Teardown, and Supply of Goods
  • A dedicated point of contact for planning and implementation

Thanks to this preparation, the catering can begin on time and fit seamlessly into the schedule of presentations, training sessions, and discussions. This ensures a hassle-free dining experience for participants, while the organizer can focus on the content of the roadshow.

Food Truck Catering as Part of a B2B Roadshow

At a product roadshow, catering serves several purposes. It provides food for the guests, creates a pleasant break between program items, and offers an opportunity for personal conversations. Especially at training sessions and industry events, the food truck becomes a natural gathering place for participants, speakers, and company representatives.

This concept is suitable for a variety of events, including product training sessions, dealer events, customer roadshows, specialist partner days, mobile academies, and multi-day tours. The menu, serving times, and setup can be tailored to the brand and the various event sizes.

Roadshow Catering with StreetQuizine Today

From our locations in Korschenbroich and Augsburg, we provide food truck catering for roadshows throughout Germany. We can also tailor our plans to accommodate multiple tour stops, varying numbers of guests, or events taking place simultaneously.

In addition to the food, we can also handle beverages, bars, furnishings, pavilions, branding, and other aspects of event planning upon request. In most cases, our food trucks simply need a suitable parking space and a standard 230-volt electrical outlet at the venue. For roadshows, we always handle the exact tour and catering planning on a personal basis.
