Short answer: With StreetQuizine, you can generally book food truck catering for groups of 30 guests or more. During peak season, the main courses alone cost approximately 19 to 40 euros (net) per person, depending on the number of guests and the menu. In addition, there is a flat fee for travel and service per food truck, as well as only the additional services you actually need for your event.

The final price depends primarily on the number of guests, the selected meal package, the venue, the desired serving time, and additional services such as beverages, furniture, or service staff outside the food truck.

How much does food truck catering cost per person?

Our current suggested prices for main courses during peak season are as follows:

  • 30 to 120 guests: approximately 25 to 40 euros (net) per person
  • 121 to 150 guests: approximately 22 to 35 euros net per person
  • 151 to 220 guests: approximately 22 to 30 euros net per person
  • 221 to 250 guests: approximately 20 to 27 euros net per person
  • For 251 or more guests: approximately 19 to 27 euros net per person

The range is determined by the different menu options. A classic burger or bowl catering service is priced differently than a large-scale BBQ or a particularly elaborate food truck menu.

The pricing structure is generally the same for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, and other private events. The key factor is the services booked, not the occasion. For dates in particularly high demand, a minimum spending requirement may apply.

How is the total price calculated?

The total price of food truck catering usually consists of three components:

  1. the meal price per person,
  2. the travel and service fee per food truck,
  3. the desired additional services.

Our main courses are offered as a flat rate during the agreed-upon serving time. This means your guests can eat as much as they like within that time frame. For finger foods and desserts, however, we calculate a quantity that, based on our experience, is sufficient but limited.

The standard service time is 2.5 hours. If a longer service time is requested, each additional hour generally costs 300 euros (net) per food truck. This price already includes staff and any additional food served.

What services are already included?

At StreetQuizine, many items are not billed separately. The individual total quote includes the following services, among others:

  • Cooks and serving staff inside the food truck
  • Arrival and Departure
  • Preparation, Setup, and Teardown
  • The food truck will arrive about 60 to 90 minutes before service begins
  • 2.5 hours of regular meal service
  • Disposable tableware and cutlery
  • Napkins, sauces, and toothpicks
  • Custom-printed menus
  • Cleaning the Food Truck
  • Waste Disposal
  • Personalized advice and a dedicated point of contact

This prevents numerous small additional items from being added later on. At the event venue, we only need a suitable space to set up and a standard 230-volt power outlet. A water connection is not required.

How much does it cost to have the food truck come to your location?

The travel and service fee is calculated per food truck. The total distance for the round trip from the nearest StreetQuizine location in Korschenbroich or Augsburg is used as the basis for calculation.

The current guidelines are:

  • Up to 100 kilometers total distance: approximately 405 euros net
  • Up to 200 kilometers total distance: about 583 euros net
  • Up to 300 kilometers total distance: approximately 761 euros net

For longer distances, the flat rate increases accordingly. The distance applicable to your event will be clearly stated in the quote.

What additional costs might arise?

Additional costs will only apply if you need services beyond the scope of normal food truck operations. These include, for example:

  • Service staff to clear tables or assist guests at tables
  • Reusable tableware instead of the disposable tableware included
  • Furniture, counters, tents, pavilions, or decorations
  • Beverages and additional beverage staff
  • a longer processing time
  • another food truck
  • Additional full-service or event planning services

A soft drink-only flat rate currently starts at 7.95 euros (net) per person for 2.5 hours. More comprehensive beverage packages that include beer, wine, or other drinks are priced according to the event.

A second food truck may be necessary if a particularly large number of guests need to be served within a short period of time. For burgers and bowls, we often plan for a second truck when there are approximately 200 guests or more. For more elaborate BBQ or French menus, a second truck may be advisable even with as few as 150 guests. Depending on the menu, a StreetQuizine food truck can serve up to 250 portions per hour.

Three real-life cost examples from 2026

The following examples are taken from actual quotes and order confirmations. Client names have been removed and amounts rounded. These are not fixed package prices, but they illustrate how different services affect the total price.

Wedding with a Premium BBQ:
For a wedding, a premium BBQ for 45 guests, a midnight snack for 65 people, a food truck, and transportation were booked. The quoted price was approximately 2,800 euros net.

Corporate event with beverages and furniture:
A corporate event for approximately 60 guests included an expanded BBQ with a selection of burgers, a 4.5-hour beverage package, furniture, an extended service period, and an additional travel fee. The total cost was approximately 6,400 euros net.

Large corporate event with 1,000 guests:
Four food trucks were used to serve 1,000 main courses at a large-scale event. The event also included finger foods, desserts, a premium beverage package for five hours, external service staff, reusable cutlery, and other full-service offerings. After agreed-upon discounts, the contract value totaled approximately 63,300 euros net.

The examples show that the cost of the food alone is only part of the overall budget. Beverages, distance, serving time, furnishings, and additional services can significantly affect the final price.

How can costs be reduced?

If you want to save money on food truck catering, the date, number of guests, and scope of services are the main factors that influence the cost. For weekday lunchtime events, we can often offer a discount of about 20 percent off the regular food prices, depending on the date and our workload.

A clearly defined meal plan without many additional event components also helps keep the total price lower. Furthermore, with larger groups, the price per person often decreases because fixed costs are spread across more people.

How can I get an exact price for my event?

To provide you with a specific quote, we simply need the event date, the event location, the expected number of guests, your preferred catering concept, and the planned serving time. You’ll typically receive a transparent quote within 24 hours on business days.

It lists the price of the meal, the applicable travel and service fees, and all requested additional services separately. Only the individual quote is binding.

Prices as of September 1, 2026. The amounts listed are net estimates based on the current peak-season rates. Private customers will receive a personalized quote with the binding total price, including the applicable sales tax.
